The first ship under the Ukrainian Grain From Ukraine program arrived in Ethiopia
The first vessel within the framework of the Ukrainian humanitarian program “Grain from Ukraine” arrived in Ethiopia yesterday, December 3. 25 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat were sent to the port of Dorale.The second ship, whose loading is completed in the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk, will head to Ethiopia next week with 30,000 tons of wheat on board, according to the website of the President of Ukraine.Somalia will also receive a batch of humanitarian wheat in the amount of 25,000 tons. The ship will soon depart from the Odesa port.
In general, as part of the “Grain from Ukraine” humanitarian initiative, Ukraine plans to send more than 60 ships to Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Congo, Kenya, Yemen, etc.
