The first shipment of American LNG of the year arrived in Ukraine

The first shipment of American liquefied gas this year, amounting to 100 million cubic meters, has arrived in Ukraine.
This was reported on Facebook by Serhiy Koretskyi, the chairman of the board of Naftogaz.
“The delivery was organized in partnership with the Polish state concern ORLEN. Almost 100 million cubic meters were delivered to the terminal in Świnoujście, Poland, at the end of January and have already arrived at the Ukrainian GTS,” he wrote.
This volume is enough for a month of winter consumption for approximately 700 thousand families, Koretsky specified.
He added that in total, Naftogaz plans to import up to 1 billion cubic meters of liquefied gas from the United States to Ukraine in 2026.
Earlier, USM reported that in March, Ukraine will begin importing American LNG from a Greek terminal.
