The fourth vessel for the UN entered Odesa seaport

On Tuesday, September 20, the bulk carrier BC Vanessa, chartered by the UN World Food Program as part of the Initiative for the Safe Transportation of Grain and Food, entered the port of Odesa.
The ship will be loaded with 30,000 tons of wheat for the population of Afghanistan, which is suffering from a food crisis, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure reports.
During the implementation of the Initiative, 0.65 million tons of food have already gone to African countries. The government of Ukraine also decided to provide up to 50,000 tons of wheat as part of humanitarian aid to the population of Ethiopia and Somalia.
