The FSB “found” traces of explosives on a ship that arrived from Ukraine to Turkey

The Russians did not let a ship heading from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don pass through the Kerch Strait. The special services claim that they found traces of explosives on the dry cargo.

The FSB of the Russian Federation allegedly found traces of explosives on a ship that was going from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don to load grain, rosZMI reports.

The incident happened on July 22. The ship was forbidden to pass under the so-called Crimean bridge.

Allegedly, “traces of dinitrotoluene and tetryl explosives, as well as signs of external interference in the structural parts of the dry cargo” were found on the vessel.

Russian special services also claim that the vessel was in the Ukrainian port of Kilia at the end of May. In July, in the Turkish port of Tuzla, it allegedly carried out a complete change of the ship’s crew, which consisted of 12 Ukrainian citizens, and changed its name.

The FSB believes that the vessel could have been used to deliver explosives to Ukraine.

Earlier in Russia, they said that they would consider ships going to Ukrainian ports as military targets. In addition, Russia declared a number of maritime areas in the northwestern and southeastern parts of the international waters of the Black Sea temporarily dangerous for navigation.

Later, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that starting July 21, it will consider all ships bound for the Black Sea ports of the Russian Federation as those carrying military goods.

Since then, Moscow has somewhat changed its rhetoric regarding attacks on civilian vessels. Now the terrorists intend only to inspect the ships heading to Ukrainian ports. In addition, the Russians must submit a request to the ship to “check” the cargo.
