The government allocated UAH 2.4 billion for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated UAH 2.4 billion to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
People’s deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko said the funds were raised from the International Development Bank and the International Development Association.
The money is allocated in accordance with the Grant Agreement (Project “Strengthening the Partial Credit Guarantee Fund (FCHGK) for small farms in Ukraine”).
Funds go to:
443 million — for a new budget program aimed at increasing the authorized capital of the Fund for Partial Guarantee of Credits in Agriculture;
2.2 billion — for the program to support farms and other producers of agricultural products;
17.7 million — for the “Emergency project of providing inclusive support for the recovery of agriculture of Ukraine (ARISE)”.
