The government approved the project from the beginning of the reconstruction of the Kakhovska HPP
The Ukrainian government has approved an experimental project to begin the reconstruction of the Kakhovska HPP, which was blown up by the rashists.
“The project is designed for two years. At the first stage, we will design all engineering structures, prepare the necessary base for restoration. The second stage will begin after the de-occupation of the territories where the HPP is located,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced on July 18 in his Telegram channel.
The second stage of construction involves actual construction work.
The project will be coordinated by the Ministry of Economy, and the customer of the works will be the state-owned Ukrhydroenergo.
As previously reported by USM, on the night of June 6, the Russians blew up the Kakhovska HPP dam. Subsequently, the head of the Defence Intelligenceb Kyrylo Budanov disclosed the details of the terrorist attack.
