The invaders are increasing the activity of amphibiuous ships near Kerch
The Russian Navy is trying to find alternative ways to supply ammunition due to logistical disruptions.
The invaders have increased the number of amphibious ships in the Kerch Strait. The invaders are using ships to minimize shelling after the Crimean and Chongarsky bridges were hit, said Nataliya Gumenyuk, head of the joint press center of OC “Pivden”.
“We continue to work to destroy what they have already stockpiled and we are working to ensure that the logistics do not allow them to restock. Those field ammunition depots that they deployed on the left bank are almost all exhausted by us, and it is increasingly difficult for them to pull up additional ones,” Humenyuk said.
Despite the fact that the occupiers still use the mainland to transport equipment and ammunition, complicated logistics do not allow them to replenish ammunition and equipment so actively. At the same time, the Russians allow civilian transport with military convoys, using people as “human shields”.
“Also, the invaders still have such a backup route as a ferry crossing. Right there on the sea, in the Kerch region, we observe the activity of large amphibious ships, which are probably used for this logistics,” the official emphasized.
USM recently wrote that the Russians are closing shipping in the Kerch Strait and trying to protect the Crimean bridge from underwater drone attacks.
