The invaders are lying about the operation of the Mariupol port
The occupation authorities claim to export grain by ship, but the Mariupol port is not working.
The Russians, who manage the Mariupol port, cannot even launch icebreakers to clear the ice. Petro Andryushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, told about this in a commentary on Channel 24.
According to him, due to difficult weather conditions, there were actually no new ships in the Mariupol port, although the occupation authorities claim otherwise.
Recently, the so-called head of the so-called “DPR”(Donetsk People’s Republic) Denys Pushylin spread the information that about 22 thousand tons of grain were supposedly sent from the Mariupol port.
“The port is still standing, fortunately there are no ships. Pushylin is blatantly lying,” Petro Andryushchenko noted.
For approximately 37 days, the water area of the port was generally unable to receive ships because of the ice. After all, the full operation of the port cannot be started for several months.
“It is very surprising that they have not resolved this issue in two years. Apparently, they did not find where to supply such a quantity of electricity. From Berdyansk and Donetsk, they definitely can’t, because they are hindered by hostilities. And it is not clear why Novoazovsk is not imported,” Andryushchenko stressed.
