The invaders are preparing to replace the commander of the Black Sea Fleet

Due to serial failures in the defense of bases and ships from Ukrainian drones, the Kremlin is considering the resignation of the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Sergei Pinchuk.

High-ranking officials from Moscow have arrived at the fleet headquarters in Novorossiysk. This was reporetd by the partisan movement “ATESH”.

The visit of high-ranking officials to Novorossiysk is allegedly connected with the inspection and preparation of personnel decisions. However, according to “ATESH”, the headquarters is discussing the replacement of the current commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The most likely successor is called the first deputy commander, Vice Admiral Akhmerov.

The reason for the possible rotation is called “system failures” in countering unmanned boats. In the last six months alone, at least eight successful attacks on Black Sea Fleet facilities in Sevastopol and other basing points have been recorded. According to the movement, the detection systems often did not work, and the response of the forces on duty was delayed by 20–40 minutes, which led to damage to ships and infrastructure.

“ATESH” also claims that the occupiers have strengthened the protection of key communication nodes of the fleet in Novorossiysk: the deployment of electronic warfare, additional short-range air defense systems, engineering barriers and an increase in the number of guards.

At the same time, the partisans emphasized their involvement in the damage to Black Sea Fleet facilities and months-long reconnaissance of ships, repair facilities and military units.

“ATESH” also recently scouted the “nerve center” of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
