The invaders robbed the port of an “associate” – the ex-president of “Motor Sich”

The russians looted the agricultural assets in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Vyacheslav Boguslaev, the ex-president of the Motor Sich Corporation. This did not affect Boguslaev’s position — he continued to support the invaders.

In particular, Boguslaev complained that the russian military illegally removed agricultural equipment and grain stored at his company “Island” in the Kherson region. This is stated in the recordings of telephone conversations, which were made public by the “Schemes” project of Radio Liberty.

During these conversations, Boguslaev complains about the shelling of the russian army and the looting of Russian soldiers. But he does not stop doing business with the occupiers — even in the midst of a full-scale invasion.

“Your boys have come. Robbery is terrible. Even I did not think that this would happen. I’m not talking about the country – in mine. In the Kherson region, Kherson, I have the Novotroitsky district, my farm “Island”, shares. They drove in in uniform, two “Urals”, loaded agricultural equipment, two generators, took my truck, loaded it and left,” Boguslaev said.

A little later, he already complained about how the invaders looted the “Nova Khortytsia” terminal in the Berdyansk port.

“I have the ninth berth in the Berdyansk port, I bought it. Everyone took computers, bread was taken from the elevators, someone else’s, I took it for safekeeping. Everything was dumped and taken away. It is not clear at all. I didn’t think they could. We can do that. Apparently, they conspired with bandits,” Bohuslav told the russian invader on the phone.

The publication notes that neither the looting of the occupiers, nor the russian shelling of the Motor Sich plant in early March 2022, had any effect on Boguslaev’s position.

On October 22, 2022, Boguslaeva was detained by the SBU on the suspicion that under his leadership the plant supplied russia with aircraft engines and spare parts for them. The aggressor country used them to manufacture and repair russian attack helicopters. According to the official investigation, the occupiers used them en masse for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
