The Russians continue to smuggle Ukrainian grain stolen in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Two Russian bulk carriers with stolen Ukrainian grain were spotted on February 22 in the port of Tartus in Syria. This was reported by OSINT researcher MT Anderson on the X social network.

We are talking about the infamous “Matros Koshka” and “Mikhail Nenashev”. According to unconfirmed data, there were 27.3 thousand tons of stolen wheat on board the bulk carrier “Matros Koshka”.

Prior to that, the Ukrainian court had seized these vessels. Also, the bulk carrier “Matros Pozynych” and another Syrian bulk carrier came under Ukrainian sanctions.

It will be recalled that on November 27, in the Kerch Strait during a storm, “Matros Pozynych” ran into another criminal bulk carrier “Matros Shevchenko”. Both bulkers then collided with a third Russian vessel, “Kavkaz 5”. Since the accident, they no longer work.

Earlier, two other Russian vessels with stolen grain were spotted near the Turkish port of Samsun.

Also recently, the captain of a Russian vessel was informed of suspicion due to the illegal transportation of looted grain from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
