The Lukoil refinery was out of order due to a drone attack

The “Lukoil-Nizhegorodnaftoorgsintez” oil refinery, located in the Russian city of Kstovo, was out of order after a drone attack.

The Lukoil oil refinery in the city of Kstovo, Nizhnii Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, was evacuated as a result of the attack by the UAV, Reuters reports.

After the drone attack at night, the AVT-6 primary oil processing facility failed. Its capacity is about 50% of the processing of the entire enterprise.

NORSI processes about 15.8 million tons of Russian oil per year. This is 5.8% of the total volume of refined oil.

Also, the refinery processes about 4.9 million tons of gasoline (11% of the total volume of production in the Russian Federation, 6.4% of diesel fuel, 5.6% of fuel oil and 7.4% of aviation fuel).

It will be recalled that in January drones attacked the St. Petersburg oil terminal located in the territory of the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation.
