The Ministry of Defense has allowed new Ukrainian-made boats to enter service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine several models of specialized boats of Ukrainian production.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.  

The new boats can perform a wide range of tasks in the conditions of both the open sea and river mouths, large lakes, etc. The design features of Ukrainian boats allow them to be used in hard-to-reach places – on floodplains, on rocky, silted bodies of water.

“In particular, they have increased resistance to moderate water surface turbulence, significant load capacity and small draft,” the Ministry of Defense reports.

Depending on the tasks, the boats can be equipped with a bow turret, electronic warfare systems, echo sounders, carriages, mobile soft fuel tanks and other specialized equipment adapted to the conditions of modern combat.

It should be noted that these boats have already been tested in real conditions.
