The Ministry of Development and Trade has named the cost of restoring Ukraine’s port infrastructure


According to preliminary estimates, the cost of restoring Ukraine’s port infrastructure is at least 1 billion euros.

This was stated by Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Andriy Kashuba at the international Black Sea Security Forum in Odesa, Ukrinform writes.

“To date, almost 400 port infrastructure facilities have been damaged. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of restoring Ukraine’s port infrastructure is at least 1 billion euros. These figures form the basis of the strategic recovery plan,” the Deputy Minister noted.

According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion as a result of Russian armed aggression, 31 civilian vessels have been damaged, 106 maritime workers have been killed or injured.

At the same time, despite the Russian attacks, the ports of Great Odesa have processed 123 million tons of cargo since the start of the sea corridor in 2023, of which 70 million tons are agricultural products. Danube ports processed 4.5 million tons of cargo during 2025.
