The Ministry of Development has made changes to the registration of vessels in the State Ship Register of Ukraine

The Ministry of Development and Trade, by order No. 821 dated 04/24/2026, amended the Procedure for registering vessels in the State Ship Register of Ukraine.
From now on, the age limit for registering vessels that are 35 years old or older applies exclusively to seagoing vessels, the Shipping Administration reported.
The changes provide that from now on, inland navigation vessels, regardless of the year of construction, can be registered in the State Ship Register of Ukraine and receive the relevant ship documents.
The Shipping Administration carries out state registration of inland navigation vessels upon application by the owner, shipowner or their authorized representative.
