The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain warned about Russian intentions to fire at civilian ships
After the failure of the Grain Agreement, Russia may fire on civilian vessels in the Black Sea to destroy Ukrainian exports.
Britain believes that Russia may intensify its campaign to destroy Ukrainian food exports by attacking civilian vessels in the Black Sea. This was announced on Twitter by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, James Cleverley.
The official emphasized that this “unscrupulous behavior of the Russian Federation” will be discussed at the UN Security Council.
“Russia must stop holding the world’s food supply hostage and return to the agreement,” concluded British Cleverley.
Shortly before that, the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Great Britain held a meeting. Politicians discussed, in particular, the protection of the ports of Odesa and the need to restore the Grain Initiative.
Also recently, the USA stated that the Russian Federation may be preparing an operation under a foreign flag in the Black Sea.
At the same time, the Defence Intelligence of the MOD of Ukraine intercepted the report on the Grain Agreement for the highest military and political leadership of the Russian Federation. According to the document, the JCC blocked vessel inspections on the order of the Kremlin.
