Six Kalibrs and two “Iskander-K” were launched from Russian ships in the Black Sea and land-based missile systems. Most of the missiles were shot down over the sea.
A massive missile attack on Odesa on the evening of Wednesday, May 17, took place from missile carriers in the Black Sea. Also from ground-based operational-tactical missile systems from the temporarily occupied territory, the Operational Command “Pivden” reports.
Six “Kalibrs” and two “Iskander-K” were destroyed by air defense forces. Most of the missiles were shot down over the sea, but two targets were shot down over the industrial area of the city.
“As a result of the aerial battle, the downed missiles fell on the buildings of industrial enterprises, which were damaged. “Unfortunately, as a result of the destruction, 1 civil guard died, two more were injured”, – said the OC “Pivden”.
