The Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces assessed the state of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea
The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation has lost about a third of its ships since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the air of the telethon.
“If we speak in the language of numbers, we can talk about a third. However, the qualitative indicator is also important, so there is a lot to work on. First of all, this applies to cruise missile carriers, of which the Russians have a dozen in the Black Sea,” Dmytro Pletenchuk said.
At the same time, the spokesman emphasized that the forces of the occupiers are constantly present in the waters of the Black Sea, namely in the airspace.
“Both fighter and reconnaissance aircraft are constantly operating there, and this is a real problem for Ukraine,” the spokesman for the Navy emphasized.
We will remind, as of April 10, there are almost no large Russian ships left in the bays of temporarily occupied Sevastopol – almost all combat units have been assigned to Novorossiysk.
