The number of ships in Izmail has almost tripled


The number of ships in the port of Izmail increased to 90 units this week.

According to Marine Traffic data, as of October 16, the number of ships in the Izmail Port increased by 2.9 times to 90 units. Currently, 10 more ships are expected to arrive, Interfax-Ukraine writes.

At the same time, there were 12 ships in the port of Reni on October 16, against 10 last week. Another vessel should be arriving soon.

As reported, the ports of Great Odesa have partially resumed work after the termination of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

According to the head of the Monitoring Group of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, Andriy Klymenko, 31 vessels with a total deadweight of 1.3 million tons arrived at the ports of Great Odesa through the temporary corridor established by the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 16.

Recently, USM wrote that on the morning of October 17, three more vessels left the ports of Great Odesa through the Ukrainian maritime corridor.
