The order of vessels in the plan of the “grain corridor” is determined by the terminals — USPA

In the weekly plan of the “grain corridor”, the sequence of vessels is not determined by the Seaports Authority but based on the plans of the terminals participating in the initiative.

The work plan of the ports for the week is drawn up on the basis of the work plans of the terminals. It is the terminals that determine the order of processing of ships at their berths and transmit this information to the branch of SE “USPA”. The administration displays the received data on a weekly basis, reports Latifundist.

The task of the USPA is to submit daily to the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul a list of vessels awaiting entry and exit inspections. Next, the members of the SCC agree in writing the number of inspections for the next day.

Since November 20, Ukraine has daily declared more than 60 ships to enter and inspect, but russian representatives in the SCC agree on the passage of only a few ships. During 5 days, the SCC carried out only 11 inspections, which is a critically low indicator.

USPA noted that the only ships that are given priority during inspections are ships with humanitarian aid for poor countries chartered by the UN World Food Program.
