The passenger ship made its first voyage through the Dniester liman

A hydrofoil boat made its first voyage, resuming passenger service across the Dniester liman for the first time since 2004.

Hydrofoil “Nibulon Express-4” made its first flight through the Dniester liman. Thus, for the first time since 2004, the shipping connection between Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Ovidiopol was restored.

“The boat can take 54 passengers on board. The duration of the flight is 30 minutes, the cost of the trip is 100 hryvnias. Currently, 4 flights per day are planned. The appearance of the route will improve communication, which has become difficult after missile strikes on the bridge in the Gulf,” writes The Maritime Telegraph.

The first flight of the Polissia hydrofoil was supposed to take place on August 10, but it was postponed due to weather conditions. The test flight on the estuary took place on August 8.
