The Persian Gulf countries are in favor of an immediate extension of the Grain Agreement
The countries of the Persian Gulf insist on the need for an early restoration of the Grains Agreement to provide food to countries in need.
The Black Sea Grain Initiative is a solution to humanitarian problems and food security for many countries.
This was stated by the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf, Jasem Muhammad al-Budaiwi, reports Al-Awsat.
During a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Saudi Arabia, Anatoly Petrenko, he noted that all members of the Council “support peaceful efforts to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.”
Al-Budayvi also emphasized that the Council’s position regarding the war in Ukraine is based on the principles of international law and the UN Charter, as well as the preservation of international order based on respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of states.
Certificate. The Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf is a regional closed international organization. The main goal of the organization is cooperation and integration in all economic, social and cultural affairs.
The Council includes Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE.
