A dry port has opened in Vinnytsia, which should connect the center of Ukraine with the ports of Greater Odessa. The port has already accepted the first cargoes.

Vinnytsia Container Terminal accepted the first cargoes, Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morgunov said.

A dry port will ensure fast delivery, handling and dispatch of cargo to various destinations.

This format of the logistics center will be an alternative addition to the ports of Greater Odessa, where cargo owners will be able to receive a whole range of services, Morgunov noted.

On the territory of the port, appropriate railway infrastructure and a container yard, storage facilities and a weighing system were installed.

Now shippers will be able to regularly send containers to the terminals of Great Odesa and Poland, and in the future – by rail to Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and the Netherlands.

We will remind you that the amount of private investment in the object amounted to more than 15 million dollars. By the end of the year, about 50 people will be employed here. In total, 100 jobs are planned to be created at the facility.
