The port of Izmail ordered the repair of a floating crane weighing over 570 tons


The Izmail port will allocate more than UAH 19 million for the repair of a floating crane. The contract was won by the company that was the only one to participate in the tender.

The tender for the repair was won by the company “V.G. Morskyi Servis”, the state procurement website  Prozorro reports, writes Intent.

We are talking about the repair of the floating crane SPK-10 with a length of 34.3 meters. In particular, its width is 15.8 meters, the height of the side is 3.1 meters, and the dock weight is 570.07 tons.

The Izmail company must update the crane by the end of 2025. The contract also stipulates the following works: dock and hull – replacement of the outer hull plating; painting in two layers of the underwater part, main deck, anchor chain, freeboard; painting the name of the vessel and the port of registration; troubleshooting and cleaning of tanks, fuel tanks and ballast water tanks; repair of the engine and auxiliary mechanisms; repair of the cargo lifting mechanism, turning mechanism and supporting and turning device.

During the provision, the contractor must present (step by step during the repair process) to the technical control department of the contractor and the customer’s representatives for inspection and inspection the repaired or replaced units, assemblies, devices, equipment and equipment, as well as present in the work with the execution of the relevant installation acts. The warranty period for the services provided is 1 year.

According to the analytical service YouControl, the private enterprise “V.G. Marine Service” was registered in Izmail in 2002. The main direction of the company’s activity is the repair and maintenance of ships and boats. The sole owner and manager is a native of Reni, Sergey Taichan.
