The port of Izmail received a cargo of technical salt from Egypt

At the beginning of February, the port of Izmail received a ship from Egypt, which delivered a cargo of technical salt for the needs of the road industry of Ukraine.
The Izmail branch of SE “USPA” helps road workers with the supply of technical salt for winter maintenance of public highways.
Due to the invasion of russian federation on the territory of Ukraine, the activity of salt-mining enterprises capable of extracting the necessary volume of technical salt for the needs of the road industry is currently suspended.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and its subordinate departments managed to organize the supply of technical salt from Egypt, USPA reported.
It was the port of Izmail that received the first ships and barges with technical salt, which is extremely necessary to ensure stable passage on public roads during winter weather and ice.
According to the results of 2022, the volume of cargo handling of the Izmail Port amounted to 8.89 million tons, against 3.84 million tons a year earlier.
