The price has been halved: they want to sell the Bilhorod-Dnister port for UAH 89 million

Bilhorod-Dnister port failed to be sold at the auction again. The State Property Fund announced new auctions.

A tender for the sale of a single property complex of SE “Bilhorod-Dnister Sea Trade Port” appeared on the Prozorro platform.

The new value of the lot is almost UAH 89 million. Offers are accepted until September 15, and the auction itself will take place on September 16.

We will remind you that during the last attempt to sell the port at an auction, the value of the asset amounted to almost UAH 1 million. The auctions were scheduled for September 6, but did not take place. So, in a new auction, the State Property Fund halved the price of the asset.

It will be recalled that the ex-head of the State Property Fund promised during the Grain Ukraine 2024 conference that the Bilhorod-Dnister port will definitely be privatized.

Vitalii Koval noted that the Fund wants to maximize the price of the object thanks to ship calls. However, ship calls to the port depend not only on the State Property Fund, but also on security factors, which are currently being worked on.
