The processing of grain wagons is increasing in the port of Izmail
Port Izmail demonstrates positive dynamics regarding the unloading of wagons with agricultural products. Volumes are decreasing in the ports of Great Odesa.
During the week, the rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Greater Odessa fluctuates in the range of 290-305 kg/day. This was reported by Valery Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
Also, the availability of grain wagons moving in the direction of the ports of Greater Odesa is decreasing — from 1,226 wagons to 793 wagons (-35.3%).
The queue of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail also decreased by -268 wagons or -12.05% (from 2223 wagons to 1955 wagons). However, the average daily rate of unloading wagons with grain in the port of Izmail is 135 wagons per day, the indicator has increased by +60 kg/day over the last week.
“Unfortunately, the most powerful port of Ukraine, the Southern port, remains blocked. In fact, the “grain corridor” operates in an unpredictable mode, the aggressor country unsystematically plans and conducts inspections of vessels,” Valery Tkachev summarized.
