The queue of trucks at the Ukrainian-Polish border reached 30 km

At the Ukrainian-Polish border, a 30 km queue of trucks formed. Each truck has to go through two customs, so crossing the border takes a long time.

“Drivers have every chance to celebrate the New Year here. This is a situation that began after a full-scale invasion and, despite the promise, cannot be resolved,” Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy reported.

The problem has already been discussed at a meeting with Walter Goetz, head of the office of the European Commissioner for Transport in the EU.

“The problem is that each truck passes through two customs: Ukrainian and Polish. But it would be more logical to arrange a single, joint control,” said Sadovy.
