The queue of wagons with grain in the direction of the ports decreased by almost 1,500 units
Over the last week, the accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa and Izmail decreased by more than 1.4 thousand units.
As Rail.insider writes with reference to the deputy director of the commercial work department of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC Valerie Tkachov, currently 6,735 units of wagons with grain are heading to the ports of Great Odesa.
The average daily rate of unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Great Odesa is 1,260 units. During the week, the volume decreased by 16 wagons per day.
“The increase in unloading in the ports is hindered by constant air alarms (the personnel of the port operators are forced to stay in bomb shelters) and systematic attacks on the energy and port infrastructure,” noted Valery Tkachev.
The accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail also decreased – up to 774 units. The reduction is 285 cars. However, the average daily volume of unloading at the port increased by three wagons. The indicator reaches 112 units.
Previously, USM reported that Ukrzaliznytsia’s transport volumes with Moldova and Romania have decreased.
