The Russian container ship “Moskva” was refused bunkering in China
The Russian container ship “Moskva” was refused bunkering in a Chinese port.
The vessel was refused bunkering because of the Russian beneficiary of the transportation, said the chairman of the board of directors of Fesco, Andrii Severilov.
At the same time, Severilov claimed that the refusal of bunkering is most likely connected with the upcoming Chinese New Year.
A few hours later, Fesco announced that container ship “Moskva” was allegedly refueled and moving along the planned route. And the difficulties with bunkering “were of a temporary technical nature.”
As of February 9, according to MarineTraffic, the vessel’s location data is unavailable – it has AIS disabled.
Previously, USM reported that the port of Singapore will increase controls on the delivery of bunker fuel from June 2024.
