The Russian Federation completed one of the defense facilities along the Crimean bridge (photo)
The Russian invaders completed the connection of the first two piers on the eastern span of the Kerch bridge.
According to satellite images of the European Space Agency, the Russians have completed the construction of one protective structure near the bridge over the Kerch Strait. This is reported by Crimean Wind.
So, on the eastern span of the Crimean Bridge, the Russians have already united two piers on the southern side. From the north, the occupiers are also nearing completion of construction, which is likely to happen within the next week.
Next to the new parallel bridge, the purpose of which is still unknown, metal “hedgehogs” and markings appear in the sea, which appear to be used to set up an additional line of defense.
The occupiers are building new structures along the main bridge with a significant safety margin. The width of these objects allows the passage of both large-sized civilian equipment – trucks and construction cranes – and military equipment, for example, the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile complex.
As USM wrote, photos of construction works near the Crimean bridge recently appeared on the Internet.
