The Russians believe that a ship with weapons for the F-16 is heading to the port in Odesa region

Russian propagandists claim that a ship with weapons for F-16 fighter jets is heading to the port of Pivdennyi in Odesa.

On Monday, September 23, rosZMI launched a fake that a ship allegedly carrying weapons for F-16 fighter jets was heading to the Port of Pivdenny.

Propagandists claim that they received such information from the “pro-Russian underground”.

This is not the first time the Russians have claimed that civilian vessels are transporting weapons to Ukraine. For example, in June, a number of Russian mass media published news about the alleged arrival of French mercenaries on boats to the port of Odesa.

Also in 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia spread information that radioactive materials for provocations were allegedly delivered to the ports of the Odesa region.

Such information leaks are needed by the Russians in order to justify possible future attacks on the port infrastructure of Ukraine in front of the domestic and, probably, the Western audience.
