The Russians could use a submarine to attack southern Ukraine

On the night of July 20, the Russians again attacked the southern regions of Ukraine. Odesa and Mykolaiv were under attack.

The targets of the Russian attack were ports, wharves, residential buildings and trade networks, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported .

In total, the enemy fired 38 munitions — 19 cruise missiles and 19 kamikaze drones:

• 7 winged “Onyx” from the coastal missile complex “Bastion” (Crimea);

• 4 Kh-22 air-launched cruise missiles — launched from eight Tu-22MZ aircraft (Black Sea area);

• 3 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles, presumably from a submarine (Black Sea area);

• 5 “Iskander-K” land-based cruise missiles (Crimea);

• 19 strike UAVs of the “Shahed-136/131” type from two directions — southern (Chauda, Crimea) and northeastern (Kursk).

Air defense forces destroyed 18 air targets:

• 2 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles;

• 3 “Iskander-K” surface-based cruise missiles;

• 13 “Shahed-136/131” attack drones.

For the third night in a row, the Russian military launched various missiles – from ships in the occupied Crimea, as well as from fighter jets in the Black Sea.

On the night of July 19, the enemy hit the grain and oil terminals in Odesa, damaged tanks and loading equipment. A fire broke out. There was no information about the victims.

Later, the Ministry of Infrastructure specified that the grain infrastructure of international and Ukrainian traders and carriers Kernel, Viterra, CMA CGM Group was damaged.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he instructed the military to strengthen the protection of people and port infrastructure, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intensify contacts with partners to increase pressure on the terrorist state and continue the export of Ukrainian grain.
