The Russians hit a convoy of grain trucks: one person was killed and wounded


The Russians attacked a convoy of grain trucks in the Sumy region. As a result of the impact, a man died, four others were injured.

On August 31, around 8:30 p.m., the Russians attacked a convoy of grain trucks on the Sumy-Kharkiv road, reports the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

A 23-year-old truck driver died as a result of the attack. Four more drivers were injured. One truck caught fire, about 20 were damaged.

Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Also, on the night of September 1, the Russians directed Shahed 131/136 UAVs to the Halytsynivska hromada. As a result, a  fire broke out in a warehouse for storing grain in the village of Lymany.

USM previously reported that the Russians had attacked one of Kernel’s largest plants: the facility had shut down.
