The Russians keep their submarines in ports in a semi-submerged state

To protect their submarines from Ukrainian attacks, the Russians keep them in ports in a semi-submerged state.

The head of the Strategic Communications Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, shared this information. According to him, Ukrainian defenders record when submarines go out to sea, but it is already difficult to track their activities in the waters of the Black Sea.

According to him, the Russians cannot enter the northern part of the Black Sea with their boats, because the depth does not allow them.

“There was information that the Russians keep their submarines, in fact, in a semi-submerged position. Which is atypical for being in a port. But they are doing their best to save these carriers,” Pletenchuk said.

Previously, Pletenchuk also said that the invaders are trying to repair 16 ships that were disabled due to Ukrainian attacks.
