The kidnapped reserve officer of the Naval Forces of Ukraine was taken by the Russians to a prison in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation.
Reserve officer of the Russian Navy Oleksiy Kiselev was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison in occupied Crimea, Radio Svoboda reports with reference to the military man’s family.
Relatives said that Kiselyov is currently in the cell of prison No. 2 of the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation, also known as “Vladimirsky Central”. They managed to get a short message in which the soldier confirmed that he was there.
Previously, Oleksiy Kiselyov was detained in SIZO-2 in Simferopol. According to relatives, the officer was taken out of there on September 18, and from Krasnodar (Russian Federation) on September 21.
Later, the non-governmental organization “Crimean Solidarity” reported on the staging of the military man to prison No. 2 of the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation.
Last year, on July 22, the occupiers detained the ex-commander of the Slavutych Navy reconnaissance ship Oleksiy Kiselyov in occupied Henichesk. The soldier claimed that the Russian security forces tortured him, after which he was taken to Crimea and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
Kiselyov was accused of participating in the “Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan”. The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation previously recognized the formation as a terrorist organization. The founder of the Noman Chelebidzhikhan Battalion, Lenur Islyamov, denied Kiselyov’s involvement in it.
