A Russian ship was discovered on a satellite image that was delivering ballistic missiles from Iran to Russia.

This comes just a day after the US said the Russian military may have received Iran’s Fatah-360 ballistic missiles, SkyNews reported.

The satellite detected a Russian-flagged cargo ship suspected of transporting ballistic missiles from Iran. It docked in a Russian port a week ago.

A source in Ukraine told Sky News that the ship “Port Olya 3” transported about 220 short-range ballistic missiles through the Caspian Sea to Russia for use in the war in Ukraine.

The vessel arrived at the Russian port on September 4. Tracking data shows that “Port Olya 3” was in the Iranian port of Amirabad just six days earlier, on August 29.

According to a Ukrainian source, upon arrival in Russia, the Fateh-360 ballistic missiles were loaded onto a large freight train.

It will be recalled that the other day the USA imposed sanctions against ships transporting weapons from Iran to Russia.

USM previously reported that Western intelligence revealed the number of Iranian missiles that Russia had received. However, so far there have been no confirmed cases of the use of Iranian-made missiles in the war against Ukraine.
