The soybean exporter in Odesa region did not pay taxes on more than 4 million

The soybean exporting company avoided paying taxes in the amount of UAH 4.2 million.

This is reported by the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine.

The company exporting agricultural products did not have confirmation of the origin of the products in the tax reporting. The chief accountant of the company deliberately did not show the income from the value of soybeans in the tax reporting.

“The goods were actually bought for cash and placed on the company’s balance sheet, on which income tax was to be paid. Such actions led to tax evasion,” the message reads.

During the pre-trial investigation, the company transferred UAH 4.2 million of unpaid taxes to the budget.

Currently, the chief accountant of the enterprise has been notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The case was referred to the court.
