The Spanish port did not let the ship with the russian cargo in

The ship, which went from the russian port of Yeisk, was not allowed to enter the waters of Spain and the port of destination.

The Azov Concord was banned from entering Spanish waters and the destination port of Cartagena. This decision was made by the Spanish authorities due to the fact that the ship was heading from the russian port of Yeisk with russian cargo, writes Fleetmon.

The ship anchored off southern Sicily. Azov Concord is likely awaiting a decision or permission to unload or change the port of destination.

It will be recalled, that this dry cargo left the port of Mariupol at the end of June 2022. As reported by USM, the reason for such “luck” is simple: the owner has two passports – Turkish and russian.

Azov Concord (IMO: 9387748) flies the flag of Malta. The general cargo vessel was built in 2008. Deadweight — 8,975 tons. The shipowner is Albros shipping & trading (Turkey).
