The stable operation of the sea corridor affected the growth of GDP

For nine months of this year, GDP growth is estimated at 4.5%, which was influenced by the stable operation of seaports.

Revival of domestic demand and stable operation of the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor supported positive trends in industry, Forbes writes with reference to data from the Ministry of Economy.

In turn, the revitalization of industry had a positive effect on transport – the volume of rail transportation and transshipment of cargo in seaports increased. The Ministry of Economy also noted that agriculture is showing positive dynamics thanks to the start of harvesting of late crops.

At the same time, the shortage of qualified specialists negatively affects the expectations and economic activity of businesses, the Ministry of Economy emphasized.

As previously reported by USM, Ukraine plans to export another 40 million tons of grain by the end of the season.
