The State Fisheries Agency tanker will be leased through Prozorro

SE “Service”, which belongs to the sphere of management of the State Fisheries Agency, for the first time offers the tanker “Tamanskiy” for transfer through the platform Prozorro.Prodazhi.

The vessel is transferred to a bareboat charter for a period of 5 years, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported. Acceptance of applications for participation in the auction lasts from November 7 to 21, the auction itself for the transfer of the vessel for lease will take place on November 22. The starting price of the lot is UAH 5.26 million.

“Tamanskiy” was on a bareboat charter with “Oil and Gas Safety and Training Center” LLC. Due to the violation of the terms of the bareboat charter contract by the charterer, SE “Service” terminated the abovementioned contract unilaterally.

According to the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaliy Golovny, now the ship will be handed over “on transparent and beneficial basis for the country”.

“The reform of the fishing industry and the fishing fleet, which is under the responsibility of the State Fisheries Agency, is ongoing. The vessels will be leased through an auction in the Prozorro system. The sales are for the state to be able to effectively use this resource and earn profits,” he said.
