The transshipment terminal of “Nibulon” in Mykolaiv has started working again

“Nibulon” announced the return to operation of its transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv.

“NIBULON” is currently operating in difficult circumstances: some of the company’s grain terminals are located in occupied territories and some are on rivers that are currently not navigable, company owner Andriy Vadaturskyi said in an interview with the League portal.

“But the good news is that we launched a terminal in Mykolaiv yesterday,” Vadaturskyi said, adding that the company exports all grain from Mykolaiv by road and rail. The reason is that Kinburn is controlled by the russians.

“Let’s hope that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will liberate the Kinburn spit. 30-35% of grain exports passed through Mykolaiv terminals, there are 16 of them. This will increase competitiveness and reduce the price of transshipment,” says Andriy Vadaturskyi.

Until then, work in the Mykolaiv region remains very dangerous. Russian troops attack a private non-military fleet with anti-tank missiles, three workers died on the tugboat “Nibulon” that was fired upon.
