The UDS appealed to the law enforcement officers because of possible abuses during modernization

Paroplavstvo handed over to law enforcement agencies materials related to the activities of contractors and the trade union “Justice”.

The company discovered a violation during the modernization of equipment at the Kilia Ship Repair Plant, the UDS reported.

According to the UDS report, during the inspection of the modernization contract, they discovered the fact of installing used spare parts instead of new ones, which was contrary to the terms of the contract. The contractor denies the allegations, but the available facts point to a possible fraud attempt.

Currently, management has stopped payment under the contract and initiated an official investigation. At the same time, questions arose not only with the contractor, but also with the officials who were responsible for making payments and then received significant bonuses.

The management of the shipping company also announced the possible involvement of representatives of the “Justice” trade union in this situation. Previously, these persons had already appeared in cases related to the storage of unaccounted spare parts and other violations.

The UDS continues to collect documents for handing them over to law enforcement agencies and is preparing a lawsuit against the authors of widespread false accusations against the company’s management.
