The Ukrainian agricultural sector can provide 95% of the needs of the Armed Forces, — Ministry of Agriculture
The Ministry of Agricultural Policy believes that 95% of the food needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be met by Ukrainian agricultural producers.
95% of the food needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be provided by Ukrainian agricultural producers, said the Minister of Agricultural Policy Vitaliii Koval.
According to him, Minagro continues to actively participate in the reform of the creation of a new food supply model.
The agency works to ensure that products for Ukrainian defenders are safe and of high quality. Monitoring of food for the army is also important in this process.
Koval reminded that the Government recently adopted a food security strategy. It envisages the possibility of providing the Defense Forces with Ukrainian products during martial law.
Earlier, USM reported that the former head of the State Property Fund, Vitalii Koval, was appointed Minister of Agricultural Policy.
