The Ukrainian MMC seafarer’s license can now be exchanged for an international one

From now on, the certificate of the seafarer of a small/undersized vessel (MSC) can be exchanged for an international certificate for the right to operate a pleasure craft.
Yesterday, April 4, the acceptance of documents for the exchange of the MMC boat driver’s license for an international license for the right to operate a pleasure boat began. The certificate is exchanged at the owner’s request. This is reported on the Facebook page of the Shipping Administration.
To exchange an old-style MMC certificate for an international certificate, it is necessary to pay an administrative fee and apply to the Shipping Administration with a corresponding application.
The certificate is issued within 5-10 working days, according to the amount of the administrative fee paid, from the date of acceptance of the application – without confirmation of qualifications and without additional training. In order to replace the MMC stern-motor driver’s license after the expiration of its validity period with an international model license, it is necessary to pass an exam at the Qualification Commission.
