The UN is looking for “incentives” for the Russian Federation to continue the Grain Agreement

UN representatives are trying to find a solution that will push Russia to continue the Grain Agreement.

UN Press Secretary Farkhan Haq shared this intention, RBC-Ukraine reports. According to him, officials maintained contacts with a number of states, including European countries, “to find creative ways to accelerate the export of food and fertilizers from the Russian Federation.”

He did not give more details about how they want to stimulate Russia to continue the Grain Agreement.

It is worth noting that in the last few weeks, Russia has been declaring that it will not extend the Zern Agreement after July 17. Representatives of the aggressor country justify this by the fact that the conditions for the export of Russian ammonia through Ukraine “are not fulfilled.”

In addition, foreign media reported this week that the European Union may lift sanctions on a Russian bank in order for Moscow to extend the Grain Agreement.
