The UK has imposed sanctions on 40 vessels of the “shadow fleet”, thanks to which Russia circumvents restrictions and exports oil.

As part of the new package of sanctions, London has imposed restrictions on 40 vessels belonging to the “shadow fleet”, enkorr reports.

Thus, the total number of tankers that have been on the UK’s sanctions lists is now 133 units.

In addition, Canada has expanded sanctions against Russia over the war in Ukraine. Restrictions were imposed against 76 Russians and Russian institutions, as well as 109 vessels.
