The United States handed Ukraine weapons confiscated from Iranian vessels
Probably, the weapons seized from the vessels of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps were intended for the Yemeni Houthis.
The USA handed over to Ukraine the intercepted consignments of small arms and ammunition, which were seized from May 2021 to February 2023 from 4 “stateless vessels”. “European Truth” writes about it.
The vessels probably belonged to fighters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iranian weapons were intended for the Yemeni Houthis.
The seized weapons include more than 5,000 AK-47 assault rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, and more than 500,000 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition.
Previously, Washington had already made a similar transfer to Ukraine. At the beginning of October 2023, the United States provided 1.1 million rounds of 7.62 mm caliber, which were intercepted by Iranian forces during transportation to Yemen.
The day before, the US Navy destroyed another Houthi drone in the Red Sea.
