The US ambassador visited Ukrainian ports on the Danube
US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink visited the Danube ports of Reni and Izmail.
Brink visited Ukrainian ports to emphasize the US government’s support for Ukrainian grain exports during the full-scale war unleashed by russian federation.
“While supporting the brave defenders of Ukraine on the front lines, we also aim to promote economic growth. It’s great to go to Izmail and Odesa region with Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov to discuss targeted USAID investments and private sector investments in strategic areas of the Ukrainian economy,” the ambassador wrote on Twitter.
She also reported that the United States, through USAID, intends to establish a public-private partnership in Izmail and the Odesa region to expand the export of agricultural products, in order to support the economy of Ukraine and to mitigate the global food security crisis exacerbated by the war with russia.
