The US congressmen paid a visit to Odesa port

During the meeting, the congressmen got acquainted with the operation of the ports of Great Odesa in wartime conditions.

Utah Congresswoman Celeste Malloy and New Jersey Congressman Donald Norcross saw the effects of Russian terror last week.

In particular, they got acquainted with the operation of the ports of Great Odesa in today’s conditions.

“We are grateful for the bipartisan support of the US Congress to Ukraine and the military, economic, political and humanitarian assistance provided by the United States,” the message reads.

It will be recalled that during the last visit of Marlen Madsen, they discussed the possibilities of attracting funds from the Ukraine Facility program for the development of the port sector.

As previously reported by USM, in July environmental damage from the Russian attack on the port infrastructure of Odesa region  was estimated by ecologists at UAH 246,000.
